Terms of service for texts from Growth Punch.

In short. Growth Punch texts you about your calls, leads, setup and bills, usually a few times a day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to stop; then everything comes by email. Texts we send in your business’s name follow the same rules and name your business.
Where the program stands
These texts start when Growth Punch opens to new customers, at checkout. Until then nobody is signed up and we send no texts under this program. The rest of this page describes the program as it runs from then.
The program
Growth Punch owner alerts is the text program of Growth Punch, Inc. We text the owners of businesses that use Growth Punch, and the co-owners and bookkeepers they add, about their account:
- a text for each call and message your assistant handles, with the caller’s name, need and number when we have them;
- setup steps;
- a summary each Monday;
- bills and payment notices;
- answers when you text us a question or a command.
A bookkeeper gets only bills and payment notices. We don’t send ads or offers by text. Every text we write starts with the name Growth Punch and comes from Growth Punch’s own numbers: one local number and one toll-free number.
An owner can also name backups. A backup signs up by texting START from their own phone, to get emergency calls and, in open hours, one ring when a caller asks for a person; we confirm by text. A backup gets no texts from this program except about signing up or stopping.
How you sign up
Texts are never required to buy Growth Punch. Without them, all of this comes by email.
Owners sign up at checkout. Here is the part of checkout that asks about texts, as it will look when checkout opens. The texts box starts empty, shows the mobile number you gave us, and is separate from the box where you accept our agreement.

None of these is required to buy. Without texts, everything comes by email.
An empty checkbox: I agree to the client agreement for [your business] and can sign for it.
After you finish, checkout says one of two things:
If you ticked the texts box: “You’re in. Check your texts: step 1 is there, and takes 3 minutes. Then your assistant starts answering.”
If you didn’t: “You’re in. Check your email: step 1 is there.”
If you ticked the texts box, within a minute we text this to confirm, with your business’s name filled in:

Co-owners and bookkeepers: we email each person you add, and they sign up by texting START to the Growth Punch number from their own phone. We text them to confirm. Nobody can sign up for someone else.
How often
Message frequency varies: usually a few texts a day while calls come in, and one each Monday.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your phone plan. Growth Punch charges nothing extra for these texts.

Stopping texts
Reply STOP to any text to stop. These words also work: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT, OPT OUT and HALT, and so does any message asking us to stop, such as “please stop texting me.” You get one text confirming it, and then no more texts. Your service keeps running, and your notices come by email instead. On our toll-free number, the phone network itself confirms STOP in its own words, and adds its own note to ours when you reply START.
For a backup, STOP also ends those calls.
To turn texts back on, reply START.
Delivery
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If a text doesn’t reach you, we send the same notice by email.
Your privacy
We use your mobile number to run your service, including these texts. We never sell it, and we never share it, or your agreement to get texts, with anyone for marketing. Our Privacy policy has the details.
Texts in your business’s name
When Growth Punch texts your customers for you, those texts are not part of this program. They go out under your business’s own texting registration and its own texting terms page. They start with your business’s name, say an AI assistant sent them, and stop when the person replies STOP.
Changes to these terms
We post each new version here with its date. If a change takes away anything these terms promise owners, every named owner gets a summary of what changed 30 days before it takes effect, by email, and by text if they get our texts. An owner may cancel before then and pays only for the days served. A change the law forces takes effect when the law says, with the same notice as soon as we can give it.
